Keyless Entry
The act of putting a key in locks is disappearing from the past, and many new cars now offer keyless entry. You can unlock your vehicle by pressing the button on the fob or by pulling the door handle. This lets you remain hands free and not need to dig around in your bag searching for your keys.
The system is based on the car sending out an audio signal that is received by the key fob which then sends a response signal to the car. The car will then recognize this and either open the doors or turn on the interior lights (if the system is configured to do this).
